Issues & Positions
My vision for Panama City Beach is built on three core pillars: Safety First, Competency in Government, and Community Always. As our coastal city continues to grow, we need strategic, experienced leadership to ensure we maintain the quality of life that makes Ward 1 and our entire city so special.
Safety First: Proactive Security and Disaster Resilience
Public safety and emergency readiness must be our top priorities. Building on the strong success of the 2026 Spring Break, we must continue to take a proactive approach to public safety, specifically by enhancing security and law enforcement presence on the east end of the beach. Furthermore, having managed high-stakes military operations and navigated the long-term impacts of Hurricane Michael, I know that disaster resilience is a necessity. I will prioritize resilient city planning, ensuring our infrastructure can withstand future storms, that our emergency operating procedures are airtight, and that our first responders have the resources they need to keep our neighborhoods safe.
Competency in Government: Smart Infrastructure, Fiscal Responsibility & Transparency
Taxpayers deserve a local government that operates efficiently and transparently. A critical piece of that transparency is enhancing communication so that residents are consistently informed about city operations, upcoming projects, and local decisions. Drawing on my daily experience managing municipal public works, I will advocate for upgrading our underground utilities, implementing cost-saving technologies like advanced water metering, and ensuring our wastewater systems are environmentally sound. Combined with my background as a Project Management Professional and my experience managing massive federal defense budgets, I know how to balance the books, eliminate operational waste, and ensure the City Council makes data-driven decisions that respect your tax dollars.
Community Always: Managing Growth Responsibly
Panama City Beach is an incredible place to live, work, and raise a family. As our coastal community continues to evolve, we must strike a careful balance between new development, supporting local businesses, and managing our vital tourism industry, without ever compromising the residents who call this city home. I will always put the needs of our community first, focusing on initiatives that support our local families, ease traffic congestion, and maintain the beautiful coastal environment that defines our neighborhoods.
